African laundry hampers bring amazing artisan craftsmanship into our living spaces. Our laundry hampers are handwoven by an association of more than 100 rural Wolof women in the West African nation of Senegal. Swahili helps extend the women's reach far beyond their saturated local markets to homes across America. These handcrafted baskets may vary slightly as compared to the the photos, as each set is unique.

*By law, containers shipped from Africa are fumigated. Other than the fumigation process, the fibers are not treated with any other chemicals.
